Tokenomics of $CROWN (formerly $GG)
GangstaVerse Crown ($CROWN):
The GangstaVerse Crown ($CROWN) is the governance token for the Emerald City in GangstaVerse. The $CROWN token (IRC-2 token standard) will be used to fuel the entire economy of the City. It will be used as a currency and reward for various in-game activities in the ICON Emerald City.
IMPORTANT: The governance token was previously called $GG during the announcement, but we planned to rename it to $CROWN as CROWN represents value in The Emerald City.
Early use cases of $CROWN:
- Used to claim land (city blocks) in the Emerald City.
- Used to mint new Civilians.
- Used to level up Civilians.
- Used as rewards after Civilians complete their Journeys.
- Used as rewards for Gangsters and Detectives for their protection fees.
- Used as incentives for providing liquidity in liquidity pairs.
- Used for participation, voting, and governance.
- Used for staking & locked staking to provide incentives to get the governance token for The Sapphire City (Polygon Network).
The tokens that are used in the game will be sent to the Treasury. The Treasury will be used for in-game rewards, development and community fund, and staking rewards.
Total Supply:
The total supply of GangstaVerse Crown ($CROWN) will be 250 million tokens (IRC-2 token standard) in the ICON blockchain. After the token launch, tokens will be distributed to GangstaBet NFT holders and those delegating their ICX votes to GangstaBet P-Rep and providing liquidity to GBET/bnUSD pair.
The reserved tokens will be locked and used for third-party partnership (if needed) or an incentive to bring users from other communities to ICON.
Three ways to earn $CROWN:
- Delegate your ICX votes to GangstaBet P-Rep either through normal staking or through OMM (IMPORTANT: If you stake through OMM, delegate at least 1 ICX through normal staking to GangstaBet P-Rep)
- Provide liquidity to GBET/bnUSD pool
- Hold a GangstaBet NFT for a one-time airdrop
